How to run truly motivational board level business expansion workshops

A. What was the problem? 

CEO invited me to facilitate four board-level workshops to help consolidate differing opinions about the way forward for this fast-growth [law firm]. The problem was that whilst the individuals were adept at what they were responsible for, there was poor cohesion plus inadequate internal communications.

B. How can desired long-term results be achieved in such a short time?  

My holistic approach provides a menu of options for the candidate to pick and choose from, underpinned by great deal of experience of working with over 350 leaders and supported by the 1,700-page leadership manual that I have written over many years.

Senior leadership team were taken through a number of proven, highly participatory, strategy workshop processes. Delegates start off by working individually before coming together as a cohesive group. Processes are devised to draw out individual and group strengths in novel ways.

C. How long does it take and what is the investment necessary?

A sequence of four x four-hour sessions spanning four months to one year. Investment is £2,495+VAT per session, plus travel at cost if outside greater London.

D. My post-assignment promise 

Success rate is consistently high. However, I don’t helicopter in (ie eight hours and that’s it) and run to the hills once the four coaching sessions have ended. On conclusion of the programme, I go on to offer Directors unlimited support by telephone or email for up to ten years, up until I think an extra session would be more beneficial.
